Accessing, viewing and using this website implies your agreement with
the terms and conditions governing the use of this website, as set
out hereinafter. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions
you should avoid accessing this website. Chipping Norton Organics
(CNO) reserves the right to update and amend these terms and conditions
at its discretion, at any time and without prior notice: we invite
you to view these terms and conditions regularly to check for any
amendments. To order from us, you must register with us. When you
register to order online from the website you will be asked to create
a password. You must keep this password confidential and not disclose
it or share it with anyone. You will be responsible for all activities
and orders that occur or are submitted under your password. A contract
for our sale of products to you arises on our acceptance of your order.
Cancellation
Cancellations of orders for a particular week must be received no
later than 7.00am (07.00hrs) on the Tuesday of the week of delivery.
Ordering a product from us carries with it the obligation to pay
for it unless we receive an order cancellation from you. We reserve
the right to deliver and charge in full for any order unless we
have received notice of cancellation before this deadline.
Orders for alcohol
Orders for alcohol, whether by fax, telephone, in writing, or by
the internet, must be made by persons over the age of 18. Deliveries
which include items of alcohol must be received by persons who are
18 or over, or alternatively if delivered to premises where no one
is present, the person making the order takes responsibility for
safe consignment.
Delivery
CNO strongly advises those customers who are not at home to receive
deliveries, to select a secure place for their delivery, out of
the sun, or rain, or cold. CNO will not be held responsible for
any claim for produce which has deteriorated due to exposure, or
from theft, or other damage, after time of delivery. Customers are
responsible for making suitable arrangements to receive your delivery
and giving CNO appropriate instructions. We will try to keep your
delivery day the same, but we reserve the right to change it temporarily
or permanently and will let you know if we do so.
Supply/quality of produce
Where we accept an order, we do all that we can to ensure that the
order is fulfilled. However, products are subject to availability
and market conditions and we will bear no liability for unavailability
of products. All products offered by us are subject to occasional
change in price. We reserve the right to change our prices and products
without notice to reflect product changes. Current prices will always
be shown in the relevant section of our website and can also be
obtained by telephoning the office.
CNO makes every effort to ensure that produce reaches customers
in a fresh and wholesome condition. However produce grown free from
chemicals and sprays does not have the same ‘shelf life’
as its non-organic counterparts. Should a customer receive sub-standard
produce they should contact CNO within 24hrs of the delivery, when
a credit for the item or a replacement item will generally be given.
Adverse weather conditions and other factors beyond our
control
CNO always endeavour to make deliveries to their customers on the
appointed day – however just occasionally we are unable to
do this due to adverse weather conditions or other situations beyond
our control. Normally we are able to deliver the next day, however
the liability for the customer to pay for the produce remains, once
the delivery has been made.
Customer satisfaction
CNO make every effort to ensure that their customers are satisfied
with the produce and service they receive. We pride ourselves in
being one of the few organic businesses which cater for peoples’
individual likes and dislikes, tailoring boxes to customers need.
We always appreciate feedback, and welcome suggestions which may
help to improve our service to you.
